Heikki Siivari is in the middle of his tour planning for the summer 2012.

We upgraded his touring bike, which he used already in 2011 for his 14.000 km cycling tour, with our quality parts to ensure the safe cycling hours during his long tour.

His plan for this summer is to cycle 15.000km in 100 days.

Starting from his home in Ikaalinen in the first week of June, Heikki is heading to the Finnish archipelago, the Åland islands. From there he travels by a ferry to Sweden, cycles to South of the country and takes another ferry to Denmark. After biking in or around Copenhagen to South of Denmark there will again be a ferry, this time to Germany, a port north of Lübeck.

He is not sure yet whether to choose the road through Germany or to Northern Holland. Sooner or later, in any case, he will cycle on the Atlantic coastline all the way to Gibraltar, passing France, Northern Spain and Portugal.

From there the trip goes on on the Mediterranean coastline up to north. Heikki plans to visit Andorra/Pyrenees and from there he is heading further to Monaco. If he is good in time, he wants to cycle around Italy and Sicily, from Northern Italy through Austria, Czech Republic, Poland and Baltic countries back to Finland and home.
