Matka Nordic Travel Fair 2016 Review

Many fair visitors showed interest towards Holiday in Northern Dalmatia and Croatia. The request for catalogues and maps of that area was also high. Some of the documents were already during Saturday out of print. The announced direct flights between several Finnish cities and Zadar by WeTravel shortens the journey amongst the destinations significantly. Advantage of the Finnish airports and Zadar Airport is, they are all relatively small. The airport Zadar is even just behind a small hill and theoretically you can be in 20 minutes in your apartment and start your active-holiday or just lay on the beach. 

Heikki Siivari astonished future vacationers with his summer bike tours and his way of traveling. His bicycle - Ullmann Magistrale with a trekking bike setup - gained a lot of attention. This Magistrale has already 40.000km (and 55.000km the Rohloff- and SON/RYDE wheels) behind and the mileage can't be seen neither with the material nor the powder coating. The short list of expandable parts replaced until today and the low maintenance required during all these years surprised the visitors even more. 

Ullmann Power Station V4

Many cycling tourists or everyday cyclists had their first contact with a mobile charger. Happy faces were seen when they attached their mobile device to the Power Station V4 and supplied their smartphone by a SON 28 or SONdelux hub dynamo with electricity. The thereby created independence is appreciated not only by long distance riders.
