This Rohloff splined sprocket carrier has been specifically designed for use with Carbon Drive splined sprockets. It secures the sprocket in place with a lock-ring that ensures Carbon Drive sprockets are secured laterally to the splined carrier and thus eliminates any micro-movement of the Carbon Drive splined sprockets created by the pre-tension of the Carbon Drive belt.

The lock-ring should be secured with a tightening torque of 30Nm using a face-wrench, hook wrench, or Rohloff's special lock-ring tool.
