Description

The first Fatbike hub dynamo with 135mm axle.
Fat bikes need electricity too! For their extra wide forks Schmidt Maschinenbau has build the SON 28 135 disc.
Flange spacing is 68mm, symmetric. The rotor is positioned at 15.3mm (standard for rear disc brakes) or 10.4mm (standard for front disc brakes on SON 28 135 discVR).

SON 28 is designed for wheels from size 16“ to 29" (700c). It is recommended, if a maximum power output is necessary at low speed, such as when using a halogen headlight or charging your batteries or using your smartphone or GPS with the Ullmann Power Station.

The first pressure equalization system, was realised in SON 28 klassik in 2002 and now protects all types of SON efficiently from ingress of water.
